The scene
Delulu is the solulu is the internet's favourite piece of advice: dream ridiculously big, act like it's already happening, and let the plan catch up later. It's main-character optimism with a wink, and it looks best over a bed or a desk where you'll see it every morning.
The style
A Y2K dream sky, all baby pink, lilac and baby blue, with fluffy cartoon clouds, little rainbows, hearts and sparkles, printed edge to edge. The words sit in the middle in fat white bubble letters with a bubblegum-pink outline and a magenta shadow, like a sticker from a 2003 pencil case.
The inspiration
The "delulu is the solulu" saying and the Y2K and preppy room trends. No style reference image was used; the look was described in words and refined draft by draft.
How it's made
I designed the sky and checked it until it felt right. The lettering was designed and set by me. It's a print of a digital artwork, not hand-drawn and not an original. Each one carries my printed "Chapter & Scene" signature in the corner.
