The unframed print
Out on the moor in the storm, and nothing else matters.
The words are Emily Bronte's, from Wuthering Heights (1847): whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. The two lovers hold each other on the stormy heather moor, with the farmhouse on the ridge behind them and the line set across the sky. It is one of the most famous lines ever written about loving someone completely.
A romantic Victorian oil painting: rich, warm colour, wind in the heather and the cloak, and a dark sky breaking open above them.
The look comes from Frank Dicksee's Romeo and Juliet (1884), Southampton City Art Gallery, for its romantic oil style. The lovers, the moor and the house are my own.
I create each picture with AI image tools, then art-direct and refine it until it feels right, and I set the words myself. It's a print of a digital artwork in the style of a Victorian oil painting, not a hand-painted original. Each one carries my printed "Chapter & Scene" signature in the corner.
A4 or A3, unframed or framed. Every print is made to order on heavyweight 200gsm+ archival matte paper at full print quality (300 DPI). The picture runs right to the edges, with the words on the image itself. Frames are slim pine, in black, white or natural oak, with shatter-resistant plexiglass and no mount. Framed prints arrive ready to hang. Free delivery to the UK and US, tracked on most orders. Small unframed prints going to the US are sent untracked.
