Stocking fillers for her and him that are not chocolate
A good stocking filler is small, a bit of a surprise, and not a third box of chocolates. Here are ideas for her and for him, including one that costs £7.99 and fits inside a card.
What a stocking filler should be
Small enough for the toe, cheap enough to buy several of, and just personal enough that the person knows you thought about them. The best fillers are things they would not buy themselves.
For her
- A nice notebook and a decent pen.
- A paperback of a book she has mentioned.
- A tin of good tea or ground coffee.
- A small plant.
- A £7.99 download of a print she will love: Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of is the romantic one, and This Too Shall Pass is the calm one.
For him
- A good bar of chocolate (just the one).
- A paperback by an author he likes.
- A pack of a decent coffee.
- A pair of warm socks.
- A £7.99 download of a print he will put up: Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost is for the walker, and Movie Night for the sofa.
How to put a download in a stocking
Write the print's name on a card. The files arrive in the buyer's email as soon as they pay, so you can order on Christmas Eve. They print it at home or at a shop, or use the wallpaper straight away.
